The kid had two ACL tears in 2011, and never fully recovered, smart of him to retire to keep his health. He didn't look bad as a rotational player in 2009 and 2010, I was thinking after 2010 he had a chance of cracking the starting lineup in camp.
Good luck to him in his future endeavors. _________________ With much cheese,

Yeah, I really would have liked to see what he would have looked like in a 3-4 _________________ @CoachHam6455 |

I never really understood why the Giants drafted him. He was much better suited for a 3-4 defense. Either way, he never recovered from his knee injuries, and it's a shame. I liked him coming out of UVA. _________________

Didnt the Giants run a blitz heavy 4-3 scheme, with Kiwanuka always at OLB. Sintim could have fit that role just fine, but he wasnt any good. _________________

The Giants like to have a big outside linebacker on the strong side. Quite frankly, we've had a lot of disappointments at the position. Carlos Emmons, Lavar Arrington, Clint Sintim, Mathias Kiwanuka. The Giants can't really seem to find what they're looking for at that position. _________________

Dang, really liked him in college. Didn't understand him going to the Giants, as he was naturally a 3-4 LB. Shame his career had to end so early due to ACL tears... _________________ Stan Kroenke listens to Nickelback |

Coming out he was more of an all around 3-4 OLB that had value due to his ability to set the edge vs the run and drop in coverage. His pass rush was decent at best. Could've been a rich mans Erik Walden if he landed in a 3-4 scheme and stayed healthy IMO. _________________
