We receive a 5th Round Comp. Pick! Was hoping for a fourth but guess just be happy we actually received one. Thoughts?

Do you really think the NFL will assign a 6th for Scott Wells even though the Packers signed Jeff Saturday last year. I'm kind of thinking 1 compensation pick but I admit I don't know the guidelines very well. I would also be thrilled with a 4th for Flynn but I suspect it may be a 5th. |

I think so, yeah. His pay check was much bigger than Wells was it not?

Saturday doesn't factor in, having more than X amounts of years in (I think 10you is the line), IIRC.

Well, it's unclear whether the 30 year old thing is only for players you lose, or if it factors into the formula both ways (gaining and losing). Guess we'll find out soon. |

Next year we will not get a pick for Crabtree (or Zombo). As RFA who we refused to tender they are effectively cut and so don't factor into the comp equation.
Jones could net us something though. |
