No, I highly doubt Jesse Williams even makes it to our 2nd round pick. Other two are possible. If I did %'s maybe:

Jarvis Jones: 40%
Te'o: 25%
Jesse Williams: 5%

J. Williams could easily drop to the 2nd but highly doubt the 3rd.

I'd give it:

Jones 50%
Te'o 40%
Williams 1%

If the team goes all defense with the first three picks, I'd be pretty pissed off.

Pretty close, I think Te'o is too talented to drop to our pick and a team will take a shot at him. Note (I believe you did it the same way), these aren't percentages of if they are available, the chance we draft them there, but percent chance they even make it to our pick.

so your saying theres a chance Very Happy. but real talk, it was just a thought, ta'amu wasn't suppose to be at our fourth round pick last year, so i just wanted to throw this out there. but lets say if this was the case, would you be happy with the picks?

I would LOVE Jesse Williams value. I like the three separately, together though it lacks a playmaker. I cant complain since it'd make us 3 new starters at their positions on D, I would just hope we'd get a playmaker in rounds 4 and 5, or a decent safety.

what were the percentages last year for DD and adams? Maybe more gifts for the FO to keep them looking like they know what they are doing.

Well players fall every year. We just happened to take guys that fell with our first two picks. I don't know how well it is paying off as I heard of the LAST 42 selections we have made, 21 are OUT OF FOOTBALL. I don't know if we draft smart per se going with that stat.

What have you done for me lately?

42 draft picks? That's almost 6 seasons of draft picks. The life span of the average football player is a few seasons. And that stat would be obviously false, because from last draft class alone 6 guys are still on the roster, one was on the practice squad and another was only just cut. Only one of the picks was jettisoned. And any draft stats like that don't include reference are a joke, anyway.

2012 - 3 picks not on team (rainey 5th, Clemons 7th, Frederick 7th)
2011 - 1 picks not on team (Keith Williams 6th)
2010 - 4 picks not on team (worthington 7th, Scott 5th, Crezdon 5th, Gibson 4th)
2009 - 7 picks not on team (everyone but Hood and Johnson)

What i am getting at is the steelers have been drafting pretty well because most of the guys not in nfl anymore were mostly 5th round or later. In that time we have drafted alot of players in late rounds that have out performed their draft day status. And honestly looking at draft picks from 2009 not being on team is not surprising at all. Thats half of the players carrer right there.

I think Jesse Williams is being overrated in terms of his draft slot.
