http://theredzone.org/BlogDescription/tabid/61/EntryId/33707/Safety-Bernard-Pollard-visits-Titans/Default.aspx What do you guys think of this? If we land him the trio with him, griff and Wilson could be scary.

I see bringing in Pollard as a bad move. We already signed a veteran leader at Safety in George Wilson. Pollard wouldn't make a good FS because he's not good in pass coverage and he would only add conflict at SS because he wouldn't want to play backup to anybody. I say take a Safety in the draft.

Id rather Pollard over a Saftey in the draft. Chances are where not gonna take one within the first 3 rounds so after that its a crap shoot and we still have Martin on the team so for me personally id take the prooven guy over some rookie in the 4th 5th 6th or 7th round

Since they are all pretty terrible players I have just assumed Al Afalava, Robert Johnson, Suaesi Tuimaunei, and Tracy Wilson would all be released so we will need a couple safeties to replace them.

Come on Al Afalava had that 1 good hit that knocked his own decal off his helmet but ya get rid of all of them and sign Pollard im down

He was. Doesn't mean we won't look to improve at that spot.

True. Strikes me as kind of weird that we sign a guy we want to come in and start then in the same off-season look in to replacing him.

Guess, like I said in the FA thread a couple days ago, TItans didn't expect all these safeties to be on the market.

Pollard would start, no doubt about it. Wilson would be depth, if he don't like it, he can kick rocks. Plus if your afraid of competition then you don't belong. Competition brings out the best in players. Pollard is that enforcer we've been needing in our secondary. A safety like him would give Griffin the chance to play center field where he belongs.
