|

Browns fan here...
I was thinking about trade down possibilities for the Browns because it looks like we may have many options available in the draft.
My question is, would the Vikings be interested in trading their 2 1st rounders for our #6 pick? or #6 and our 3rd? #6 and Ahtyba Rubin/Phil Taylor?
Would their be anyone you are interested in at 6 or would you rather just keep the 2 1st rounders?
Thanks guys, Id appreciate your opinions. |

For me, it's a very strong no. _________________

I agree with RPM if anything we trade one of those firsts to get extra picks in the second and third rounds. _________________ 2013 Adopt-A-Viking: LB Michael Mauti #56

| Thanks guys. I havent kept up on the Vikings needs but wasnt sure if there was someone near the top that you may covet. such as Dion Jordan, Ziggy Ansah, or Dee Milliner. |

Nothing is impossible, but I see that as being highly doubtful. If the vikes do any trading up in the first, they would move one of their firsts and a later pick. The most likely situation would be us trading one of our picks down for more selections. The biggest issue with us trading up to your pick at #6 is that we have enough holes that we need to fill with the picks we have and that there is not a player that would be worth us trading for available at #6. _________________ "ARMY AVIATION: HIGH ABOVE THE BEST" |

Absolutely not! We would trade down as well if anything. I could see ATL trade up for a DE though. _________________

Absolutely not. There is no player of a skill level at #6 that can't be taken at #23. This is one of those drafts where #1 is not all that different from #25. There are no real "elite" players in this draft...just a bunch of very good ones. _________________

Partially agreed with disaacs. I feel like Shariff Floyd is an elite player but he's not that much better than a Sheldon Richardson.
There is no one prospect that outclasses everyone else at their position.
Milliner has Rhodes
Floyd has Richardson _________________

| Most Draft experts are saying exactly what Disaacs is saying the talent drop-off is next to nothing from 1-25. We have 2 spots in the top 25, so no it would be very unwise to trade up. I honestly think the vikings shouldnt even trade down with one of those number ones. At least with those 2 you have starters from day one. |

Exactly this, sure doesn't hurt to inquire, but our GM covets his picks too much to make that big of a move. We might move up a couple spots to grab someone and jump a team to get them, but we won't jump roughly 20 spots. I just don't see it, the 2 firsts gives us two day one starters in this draft. _________________

Well, I don't think we can say for certain what he'll do....he did trade up into round 1 last year.....that said, I agree with the others, it is unlikely they would trade up that much. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |

I have no interest in trading up. I want the Vikes to keep both their picks and hopefully take a LB with one of them & either a WR or CB if by some chance Xavier Rhodes falls. _________________
