I think this kid will be pretty damn good. Learned from some of the best and held his own when filling in for Briggs.
As we have it set up now, it's looking to be Roach/Maiava, McClain, Burris.
I think we can all assume McClain will not be playing. Not necessarily not on the team. I'd just demote him to the practice squad the rest of his time here b/c I believe cutting him doesn't give us too much cap space.
Regardless I'm liking it thus far. _________________

| I'm guessing he'll win that MLB spot, he filled in nicely for Urlacher. |

Then make him the water boy. I don't care. It's about the message being sent, not the specifics. Hell, he could be the janitor for all I care. _________________

yep, McClain the whiffing snail has been hopefully replaced i cant stand another season of him jogging & whiffing on tackles. we might be able to trade him on or before draft day 6-7 rounder maybe.
if we keep adding the right pieces we might even turn some heads. |

Love this signing. Roach filled in for Urlacher at MLB last year and played solid. He's a young player w/ room to get better. _________________

I thought he backed up Urlacher initially but I also knew he was an OLB so I figured I was just remembering incorrectly.
If he stays in the middle, I'm fine w/ */Maiava, Roach, Burris. That's really not awful and we could do a lot worse. _________________
