Posted this in our fantasy baseball thread but figure a lot of Tiger talk here too


So how many games does Leyland get suspended? He made it know yesterday that they would not tolerate Rodney throwing UP and in.

Porcello hits Zobrist and both sides get warned.

Yea everything I have read has been great. His knocks are coachable stuff IMO.

You cant coach his instincts to put the goal in net


A big guy that doesn't use his size is always a question mark though. Its very hard to coach that aspect of the game. Players either like and relish contact or they shy away and that how Mantha plays.he needs to increase his aggression and learn how to block players out with his body. Blocking is teachable. Aggression and desire for physical play isn't.

He also doesn't use his stick as actively as he should.

im not worried about it really. Detroit develops player really well. About the only Det team who does.
