Nah, Bennett's clearly better. |
I know. Bennett >>>>>> Bennett. And it's not even close. Clearly Bennett is on a whole different planet talent wise. |
Bennett is the better pass rusher. Bennett is better for the run. _________________

I think that Bennett is better than both of those guys. _________________

I hate you guys. Just save us one DE. That's all I ask. Just one end. _________________

Wow. Seattle is cleaning house. Competition is in full swing. I have a sneaky suspicion that Red is going to be kicked inside.
Bennett Red Mebane Avril 1st and 2nd down.
Avril Bennett MEBANE Irvin on 3rd down. |

Red can't play inside though. He failed at it badly before Pete got to Seattle. _________________

Even with Dan Quin as a DC? Can't remember.
So that leaves us with 5 very capable DEs (1 Injured) Clem, Red, Irvin, Avril and Bennett.
DT and OL and maybe a Nickel CB. The rest of the picks in this years draft won't make the team. |

I love this signing. If Red gets reduced snaps he may restructure his deal next year or face getting cut. That will solve the extensions for the secondary.
I thought we were already close to the cap this year. Anyone know the numbers? _________________

red bryant is still elite in a redzone/goal-to-go package, he just needs to give us some money back first.
I'm willing to sig bet that one of Rice, miller or red will be taking a pay cut this off season |

I don't know if Pete tried out Big Red at DT but he must not have been doing well if Pete did decide to try out Red at DE.
I do think that this draft should focus on the trenches. _________________

I don't know the numbers but I imagine that they are very close to the cap.
I also expect most of the draft picks to not make the roster. _________________

Shoot. All 3 should take a cut. The price to play for a championship ball club.
And Bennett and Avril signing is Pete Carroll recruiting 101. He always gets the best player to play for him at a small price. |

I'm cool with that, lets package all of our picks together for 3 quality picks. DT, OG, and a Nickel CB. Call it a day, go golfing Pete. _________________
