so happy bout this. VERY tough runner. and if defenses put 8 in the box Roddy and Julio will destroy secondaries. if they cover up the WRs Say Jax will get his. i cant wait til week 1 now lol now if we can just sign Grimes or somehow get Revis in here, this would be a very successful offseason.

im gonna start calling Say Jax and Quizz "the Dread Heads" Laughing

Great deal if the numbers are correct. I wonder how much cap room is left. Gonzo's deal with get done, that's pretty much a given. Grimes is a question mark. Ideally, you get Gonzo and Grimes re-signed, and then offer some of these old defensive lineman (guys like Osi, Freeney, Seymour, and even Abe) cheap contracts that give them a chance to win a ring.

Love the way Jackson hits the hole hard, no tap dancing. Also love having a running back that no one really wants to tackle. Can't wait to see him in a Falcons uniform. Welcome to "Team Dread" Steven Jackson!

Around what I thought. I said no more than 18 and no less than 10 (after we found out it was a 3-year deal).

Very excited if those deal #s are true. Would be a huge steal in my book.

The most important # is 4 million which is next to nothing. Great signing. Low risk, high reward.

I will say again-

He obviously wanted to come to Atlanta. Indoor stadium, legit superbowl contender and an awesome supporting cast. Go ahead and stack the box and julio roddy and tony g will go off. Focus on out passing attack and Jackson will destroy you. I'm calling it right now Abe will be back before its all said an done with. Grimes is the question mark. Now we don't have to draft a rb and possibly spend our 2nd rounder on a CB. Draft is going to be heavy on the defensive side of the ball. All we need to do is get a speed LB who can cover a TE to compliment Spoon, a big DT to plug the middle, and some pass rushers. We can bring back Abe or bring in Osi and then draft a DE, CB, DT, OLB. Honestly the only offensive position I could see us drafting this year would be TE.

I like the signing. It was a pleasant surprise when I got the text from ESPN since I wasn't expecting us to win the sweepstakes against GB.

What about Phillips wheeler and seymour. Bring back grimes and Abel. That would make this offsets very successful.
