This has to be one of the most underwhelming QB depth charts in recent memory... |

The question is, is this a QB competition, or does one of Cassel/Ponder have the #1 job for now? _________________ If you're not in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

fools. Hey we have this crappy QB who can't throw the ball down the field. Let's pick up one exactly like him only less athletic and more sucky to be his backup! _________________

Purely a depth signing, no competition. Ponder is not as bad as everyone makes him out to be, he just doesn't make any highlight reels. He is a manager on a run first team. Good signing. _________________

50 yards in the air, right in to the receiver's hands. _________________

oh wow! 1 play, well I guess I'm convinced. I don't really have anything against Ponder except that I don't think he's an NFL starting QB. He'd be a nice backup. I'd be more concerned if he got hurt and you had to start Cassel. Yikes. Cassel with the weapons currently on your team? eeesh. _________________

To all the uninformed: this is purely a reaction to Joe Webb's performance in that play-off game. _________________

Brady Quinn or Rex Grossman would've probably been a better 'reaction'... _________________

Yeah i was thinking the same, probably wouldnt be hard to find a video of every nfl QB who has started games throwing a deep pass. |

Nice try,
but no.
You can look up their respective career stats and see why you're wrong. _________________

A reaction to that playoff game should have been firing offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave for trying to air it out with Joe Webb. _________________
