Sources: #Cardinals expect to cut QB Kevin Kolb over the next few days. Due a roster bonus of $2M on March 17. He won't see that, I'm told

La Confora was saying something about us not being able to sign anymore FA's until Kolb is released. Not sure why they're waiting, maybe trying to trade him to some desperate team?

Probably. Maybe a team was targeting a FA QB, missed out on their guy, and want to go for Kolb without risking him via FA. It won't happen though. It would be a longshot.

With that extra money we should either extend one of our core players (Peterson) or fill another hole and/or sign a good player to a 1 year contract.

We can't extend PP21 until after his 3rd year.

Forgot the rule thanks. I'd be willing to sign another good player to a one year contract. Hell DRC just signed a 1 year contract for 5 million. I'd like to test out a player of that level.

I was really hoping he would prove me wrong...but I was dead on in my prediction.

Sometimes it sucks being right!

I know what you mean on that one. I just never saw him working out.

Could never stay healthy and doesn't appear he was a fit here with the new regime. He was definitely serviceable last year in the 6 games (I think) he did play, though.
