I can do this also.
Circa 2011:
Oakland Raiders Savior = Barkley plain and simple |
Honestly.....I wouldn't mind if we picked Barkley even in the late first on a trade down. But I could have my homer shades on. I know I'm probably alone on that one too, which is fine. And fair. |
EH, Just a smarter, Blonde haired Matt Leinart IMO |
I think of him as a smarter Andy Dalton. _________________

Possibly, I think USC's decline is more Kiffins fault. Barkley did throw a ridiculous amount of checkdowns/screens though from what I've seen. Who would you compare his arm strength to? _________________

Honestly, its been a while and my mind has been elsewhere to make a correct judgement atm. I wouldn't say he has a strong arm, but I would say its at least adequate. _________________

Would we need a new OC if we got Barkley? or could he function in Olson's system.
I like Barkley, his arm is good enough to play in this league, a lot of his issues in college were due to the offensive line. His intangilbes seem limited but there's no way to know for sure until he gets on a team. |

Clowney is going to be so good. Check out these highlights... from high school:

For the past 7+ years he's been the best player on the field
Bridgewater is going to be great too _________________ If the Raiders don't trade back at 3, I want Fisher, Ziggy, or Star. |

Have you been following Manziel? He is really caught up in his own media hype. I've read that defensive coordinators are REALLY pissed off about the read option and are really dedicated this off-season to stop it. We will see how these read option QBs stand up next season. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

| NOw that Joeckel is gone were gonna get a better look at Manziel and how he handles only having one top tackle. I wonder what kind of numbers Bridgewater would have put up with that line? |

I think Manziel is the real deal, the kid is like someone you create on madden and give 90+ stats in every category, then play on rookie setting.
Even if DC's figure out the read option and his stats regress I still think it's possible for him to improve as a player. Manziel isn't the type of QB who can consistently run the option in the NFL anyways, too small. Manziel will be absolutely deadly scrambling out of the pocket though, like a white Mike Vick. _________________

To the man who said Teddy is a running/read option QB... I revoke you from ever talking about Teddy again until you watch some film. If you watched at least ONE of his games you would know that is not the case. The man had less than 30 yards rushing on the season. _________________ DalCowboyzRule

Ignorance. He looked at a pic of him and was like "yup, run first, read option QB" _________________

For telling people what they can and cannot do about the guy, you should be a little more informed yourself b/c this is entirely inaccurate. Hell, he had 75 in one game alone LOL.
Sacks come off the QBs rushing total in college while passing totals in the pros. His sacks lessened his rushing total for the years but he had plenty more than 30 rushing yards LOL _________________

so Andrew Luck had almost 500 yards rushing in 1 season, does that make him a read option quarterback _________________
