I'd take him in the second, but no in the first. His speed, or apparent lack there of scares me. _________________ "Building a great team isn't about having the best players, it's about having the right players." |

If they use a first on a corner, I'd rather it be Rhodes. Much bigger and mor physical. He has the ability to cover multiple positions because of his size/athletic ability. I'm not a big Banks fan. _________________

Banks is definitely the best fit for our system. Trufant is so overrated it's not even funny. All he did at the Senior Bowl was hold WRs and jump routes during drills. Turn on the tape and all he has is speed. He can't tackle what so ever. |

Yes but he won't be available at our pick. _________________

I don't know about that. With the CB market being what it is, and the depth of some of the other positions in the draft I could see Rhodes making it to 23. There are some concerns about him too... _________________

He might be available at pick 23 due to the fact that there are so many decent CB's in the FA market. Teams can snatch one up without having to invest a high draft pick in one. This upcoming draft should be very interesting to watch. _________________ "No one can disguise mediocrity better than Bill Belichick." |

He had a bad Combine but ran 4.51 at his Pro Day. _________________

Just noticed the other day that his name is actually spelled Johnthan Banks (that is, no "a" between "John" and "than") -- even more confusing when there's like 4 other possible high picks named Jonathan in this draft |

My favorite player in the draft is Xavier Rhodes, but he will be a top-15 pick.
I would love Banks (probably would prefer Trufant though) in the 1st along with DeAndre Hopkins. _________________

I don't know if he goes top 15. There are a lot of teams that need OL and DL help that are drafting in the top 15, and this draft is strong in both areas.
I participated in a mock that had him falling to the Broncos. _________________

I'm convinced that Rhodes won't fall past Pittsburgh, I feel he's a perfect fit there. _________________

Getting a little off topic, but I see Pittsburgh as a prime candidate to trade back with holes at RB, WR, LB, DT, CB, and S. _________________

I love Banks as a prospect. NFL.com's comparison to Aqib Talib is spot on and would consider him the 1st. However, Banks and Cook on the outside would make us weak against the run as both are pretty poor in that regard. _________________
