I would love to see the team sign Smith. After his early career trials he has really tuned it around. |
What happens when he gets paid again? Wouldn't be mad if we took him though...I'd prefer to spend on some Defense though... |

And after 2013 would you let Veldheer walk or bring him back on LT money, since Fisher would be on RT money for the first 4 years anyway?? _________________ WIN LOSE OR TIE...RAIDER FAN 'TIL I DIE!!

Depends how Veldheer performs in 2013 but the most likely scenario would be to re-sign him long term to play LT. Fisher could be on RT money for 5 years since teams can pick up an optional year with first round picks. That means Fisher is a FA in 2018 when Veldheer is 31. _________________

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked. | #clueless |

LG: Matt Slausen
TE: Kellen Davis
RT: Nate Garner or Geoff Schwartz (both can play OG also)
Garner and Slausen both have ties to Sparano. Davis is a good blocker. |

Sounds like a good plan to me...
Next year we finally will have the cap space to keep Veldheer (and Houston too...) _________________ WIN LOSE OR TIE...RAIDER FAN 'TIL I DIE!!

We had 23M before signing Maiava, Sims and Hunter. We probably still have more than 20M right now. _________________

It'd be smart to lock at least one of them up now imo. FA prices are about to take a significant raise in the next few years. _________________

LT- Veldheer
LG-
OC- Wisniewski
RG- Briesel
RT
WR1- Moore
WR2- Streater
TE-
RB- McFadden
FB- Reece
QB- Palmer |
LT- Veldheer
LG- Mike Pollack (should be cheap, but serviceable)
OC- Wisniewski
RG- Briesel
RT Richardson (don't rate particularly, but I'm thinking cheap, wouldn't even mind Mr False start himself Barnes back as he was ok in PBS)
WR1- Moore
WR2- Streater/Ford
TE- Ausberry
RB- McFadden
FB- Reece
QB- Pryor
...with Pryor the OL is less of a concern, plus Reece, McFadden & Pryor would scare LB's a little don't you think
(I can't help thinking, we get a servicable centre cheap - and they tend to be one of the more inexpensive positions to fill - and moving Wiz back to LG might not be the best option).
I alos wouldn't be against taking a calculated (again cheap) gamble on Jason smith |

Richardson? As in Barry Richardson? You can't mean him. You just can't. That's asking for trouble. _________________
