Avril will receive a $4.5 million signing bonus and $1.5 million base salary this season. He's scheduled to receive a $7 million salary in 2014, bringing the two-year total to $13 million.

The structure provides Seattle with flexibility after one season. The first-year charge against the salary cap is a modest $3.75 million.

From reading this sounds like we got him 2M cheaper then originally thought nice.

I think we sign him long term in 2014 and attempt to move Clemons in the last year of his contract.

"Whats you're favorite color?"
"Oh is that Red Bryant?!"

I bet none of the announcers knew who the guys were without looking at the cards first. Except Wilson.

Coming from a lions fan it was a quality signing and i believe he will have the same production if not more with ur seahawks because he will no longer benefit from playing next to suh and fairly and being single teamed but you guys do have the best secondary in the nfl and im sure that that will more than make up for the lack of suh/fairly caliber interior lineman. Avril is also great at creating turnovers my guess is he ends next season if he starts with 12 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and a TD.
Good Luck and spank the 9ners for me Wink

Dude when I was younger and sorta liked hockey the Vancouver Canucks were who I liked but found out it was Vancouver, BC.

Im in the States in Vancouver Washington. But it's alright, I'm used to the assumption of Canada.

You're still alright in my book. Wink
