LOVE this off season!!! The past few days have been great as a seahawk fan! Avril and Irvin will be a scary pass rush combo and it gives Clemons time to get fully healthy before coming back

I've been waiting for Avril and Rodgers-Cromartie to come sign on the dotted line. 1 out of 2 aint bad. It's nice to see John and Pete making moves.

When I saw this on NFL.com all I said was "Woah!"

I didn't even think about him because I figured he'd go to a team with way more cap room than us because he wanted to be paid like Mario Williams. I'm anxious/eager to see the contract. I like it though - he's still so young that he can help us more longterm than Clemons can at his age and with the injury. Hope we keep them both because I like Clem but they are really similar players.

They're overrated & not making the Playoffs next season.
8-8 or 9-7 best for Seattle. (& No Playoffs)

Two years at 7.5 per year according to John Clayton, love that deal for us.

Classic John/Pete deal. Wait for a talented player to realize that the market is not materializing the way they'd hope for it to and jump on that player and offer him a "prove it" deal. Gotta love it.

So now I'm trying to visualize (after SOS'comment about relegation to backup) Avril @ 1 end & Irvin @ the other with Mebane & X in the middle on obvious passing downs? Seems like a set-up for draw plays, but gawd help 'em if they really do try to pass against that alignment. Somebody help if I'm way off here.

That's where you hope that KJ and Wagz are smarter and learn how to close off those plays!

Great move by Schneider we can't bank on Clemons being the same player coming back from his injury i know A.P did but not every ones body recovers the same way.

This is a beautiful signing. Beautiful. He'll have more success as a LEO than he would probably see anywhere else, it fits his skillet so well. Great replacement for Clem and doesn't rush Bruce into starting

We maybe releasing Clemons until his injury is healed. Could take til mid November before he's 100%

It would save us 4-5M a year.

I'd rather keep him on our roster and just IR him for his bonus. Then attempt a resign.

So I guess that the new CBA allows teams to roll over salary cap???? This makes sense because I thought Seattle only had about 16M in room. But Harvin and Cliff are due to make over 22M alone.
