Man. The Broncos have signed a bunch of guys and I don't think they are done.

I still think a trade for Revis is a possibility. If not the trade, Elway will get one CB in here and I think a RB that will be cheap.

It seems to me that after all of these signing that Elway will be gunning for Lacey in the first round in the draft. That is my opinion and I could be wrong.

I've kind of begun to lose hope on that but I haven't heard much news on the Revis front all day so I guess it's still possible.

I think that there will be a CB signing. I would really like it if they signed Scrabble to a 1 year deal.

On the one year deal he would be playing for another ling term contract, and play up to his talents. i think he got comfortable with all of the money he got in Philly.

I don't see a Revis trade. If it were just the picks, I could see it. But there is also going to have to be a big contract extension, and I think that the extension is the killer.

As for the RB, I don't know. They might want to go big and go after Turner, or Jackson, but I think that RB might be a draft thing. I would like to see Monte Ball in a Bronco uni, and they could get him in the 3rd, 4th round.

I am with you. Then again, maybe Elway is playing chicken again and wants to lower the deal that is out there.

I think that the CB class is too strong for us to not sign one of the guys. By my count:

Antoine Cason
Chris Gamble
Brent Grimes
Deangelo Hall
Antoine Winfield
Nnamdi Asogmoua
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
Aquib Talib
Sheldon Brown
Sean Smith
Keenan Lewis

All those guys to me are day 1 starters here in Denver. I hope we make a play on at least one of them.

Also the HB position is a possibility hopefully a really cheap guy.

No to Hall, Talib, Brown; Gamble retired a few days ago. All the others... yes.

The more I think about it the more I think that DRC makes sense. He is an absolute lockdown corner but more importantly he is SUPER athletic. A type of corner that can run with the others teams fastest WR.

He literally gets burned less than all but 4 starting NFL CBs and I don't have to tell you guys that getting burned is a bit of a problem for our secondary.
-----------------------------
Sam Shields is the other CB I would be really interested in looked at. He was tendered for a 2nd round pick (He is significantly better than any other corner at that spot) has the speed and has shown real lockdown ability.

Shields or DRC would be a nice way to cap the FA.

I don't want to give Sean Smith that contract. I want to give it to Chris Harris.

There still has to be something done about the DE position, either we'll get news of a Dumervil pay cut, or sign a starter, I think RB can wait till the middle rounds of the draft, I think we will make a move at DE and sign a CB and then everything else will be for depth/camp follies.

In the draft I think we take the BPA, from any of the following positions

RB
TE
Pass rusher
DT
MLB
WLB
CB
S

I wouldn't want to have TE that high on the list...no rookie is going to come in and have the chemistry Tamme or Dreessen has with Peyton. And with the addition of Welker, Denver will run the majority of snaps with at least 3 WR, leaving room for 1 TE and 1 RB. There has got to be a better value.

McClain and Arrington should join Winfield as the top 3 slot Cbs in FA.

Has anyone heard the details on how much Vickerson's and Kinghton's 2 year deals are worth?

I think we will sign either Nnamdi or Cromartie maybe a running back and that will be it for the "big names."

If we don't sign a running back, I think Lacy or Montee ball become real options in the draft.
