It's a broken record that has been playing since he was drafted and it's never happened.
Why would it now?
|
It's a broken record because you're asking the same question over and over again when people are giving you the answer. Adress the points made, maybe? |
The points are 100% irrelevant. I look at the FACTS. He was asked by the staff to lose weight for his position and did it. The HC said he MIGHT get reps inside on passing downs.
The points about him playing the position in college, being projected DT coming out, etc, etc. all are meaningless to what is being displayed on the field.
It's typical "we know better than the coaching staff about where a player should play" speak. |
You're missing the main point. The UT depth chart since he was drafted and the current one. Those are FACTS too. The former is why there was no way he was going to play there, the later is why he MIGHT now.
No one is saying they know better than the coaching staff, some people think he's a better fit there. That's it. We don't know what the coaching staff thinks anyway. Do you? |
I know what the staff has done and said in regards to the player, yes. It's evident. He's cut weight and playing DE. That is all I need to see.
I don't care what the UT depth was when he was drafted. He's been a DE since entering the league, playing well so why suggest changing it?
He's too small to be a DT on 1st and 2nd down. He would be owned in the run game. He was smallish for the position coming into the NFL.
If any of you followed his career at Texas, he was recruited to play DE and played there his first 2 seasons. He was moved inside in 2009. He was seen as a VERSATILE Dline prospect that could play either position. _________________

Really? He's 6'3 and was at 305 when drafted.
Sharrif Floyd is 6'3, 297.
Sheldon Richardson is 6'3, 294. _________________
