yea we are so weak at de he might end up starting lol |
I don't care who is starting there as long as they are getting results. I thought that was the idea? _________________

So what. As long as he is stopping the run and putting pressure on the passer I don't care what the stopwatch says. _________________

I'm pretty sure when he says he is slow he doesn't mean running the 40. I'm sure he means he seems slow getting to the passer which I agree with. But if he can shed blocks he would be an upgrade regardless. |

| Could be underrated. Former LB. DA knows him well. Might surprise some folks. |

I understood what you meant. But he doesn't have to get actual sacks to be effective. Pressure would put balls in the air for DB's to pick off. That's all I'm concerned about. And i doubt he can be any slower getting to the QB than Shaugnessey. We just need a hungry upgrade opposite Houston. _________________

Hunter said that he is playing DE, so im going to assume its LE.
Im just speculating but I think our DL is gonna Look something like this...
with a trade down.

He was actually a pretty good player for us when he was completely healthy. Not a bad depth signing at all. I'm embarrassed that I didn't know he was a FA. Oh well, now he's the enemy. _________________

Houston is staying at DE but will slide inside in obvious passing situations.
Like I said in another thread, he slimmed down to 285 for speed so i don't think he will play inside at that size. And its a little early to say what the starters will look like. But it should be pretty interesting once it is all said and done. _________________

Agreed, its like I've been saying all along with ion Jordan. Just because a guy plays at X weight does not mean that he can't gain or lose weight before the next season starts. Houston can put on weight if needed. _________________

Linebacker/defensive end Jason Hunter's base salary for 2013 is $715,000 with Raiders. |
It's not his cap hit though. The cap hit will be less, i'll check on that but it'll be around 500k. _________________
