Cribbs has some upside on offense as a receiver. He's perfect for a handful of plays a game, even though the Browns refused to go there with him this past year. Cribbs had over 40% of our plays longer than 20 yards back in 2011. After getting Josh Gordon in the supplemental draft, it became clear that the Browns 2012 coaching unit wanted to get him and Greg Little more involved in the offense, so they let Cribbs ride the pine for longer periods of time.
Again, he isn't a good #2 or #3 receiver, but it sounds like you guys already have people on the roster for those positions. But he makes a great #4 or #5 to slip in there and catch teams off guard. Arians knows him well from facing him twice a year while he was the Steelers OC.
As for his return game, this signing should keep Peterson from handling most of the duties. Cribbs doesn't have that short burst in speed button any longer, but he's still one of the stronger returners. That's what made him so great in his prime, solid strength and burst more than straight speed. |

Alexanders just a good ST player nothing more. He is some what a sure tackler if you start him but thats about it, way to over price.
Bad move IMO, good move on Cribbs since he is a ST player and a gadget player.
Cards will be fine you opened up your cap space too so who knows . |

You guys just signed one of my favorite Redskins. If we didn't have the cap penalty he'd still be one.
Trust me, there's no quit in this guy. He's decent as a LB (and flashes some great plays) and a fantastic special teamer. High motor, always attacking the ball carrier and never lets down.
You may not like some of your signings later in the year, but I can guarantee you that you will love this one and you will not want to let 'Zo go once this contract is up.
I know I didn't.
Glad to see the guy get paid, even if it wasn't in DC. _________________

Josh Cribbs will run through a wall for you guys.
Such a loveable player for your team and city.
Congrats. I miss him already _________________

LaCanfora though..
Contrary to reports, Josh Cribbs not only doesn't have a deal with the Cards, I'm told it's not even close. He is still playing the field... _________________

Worthless signing. Nothing more then a ST player. To think that Arizona even thinks he could start is horrible. |

Mike Jurecki @mikejurecki
Hearing Lorenzo Alexander is projected to play inside next to DWashington, don't know IF he's starter that will be based who they sign/draft |

Wow, what a reach
Damn we are poor
Sure Dansby or Rey would have been cheaper, maybe not ST worthy, but seriously better at ILB. |

Well, we know he can play and works hard, but that money just makes me scratch my head _________________
