Aside from starting experience, how is VY any different from Pryor? This really doesn't make much sense to me.
Young looked terrible with his stint with the Eagles. Absolutely terrible. And was beat out by Thigpen on the Bills. I really don't see any reason to be giving VY a look at this point in his career. _________________

We need to fill Leinart's spot number 3 QB, but a rookie would be better. _________________

This rumor is unsettling. What an awful signing this would be, even as a 3rd stringer.
Let's keep pushing idiots out of our locker room. Don't go inviting any of them in. |

to be fair Vince Young has accepted he was an idiot, but he was also a young kid with a lot of money (it would be hard not to be an idiot), I honestly feel the career dip might have made him realise how 'lucky he is to have such god-given talents (I know uncle Al's spirit would give him another chance).
Seriously for vet min got to be worth a shot at the 3rd QB postion, if CP does down to injury (or is traded/cut) and TP struggles I know I'd prefer vince Young to MAtt Leinart (or even Kansas City's Smith...seriously) |

Until someone from the Raiders actually comes out and says that they are talking to Young, I'm calling this "report" a bunch of crap. It looks like he called us and asked for a workout. Nothing more. So to say that the Raiders are "talking to Vince Young" is more than a bit misleading. _________________

Not at all. Dude is plague. It's not just that he's an idiot. It's not just that he's a quitter. It's not just that he's suicidal. It's not just that he's dumb as a stump (a 6 on the Wonderlic). It's that he's all these things. Any one of those qualities should be enough to blackball the guy. Vince Young is a cocktail of poor intangibles. No NFL team should ever touch this guy again.
Let him go to the CFL, or the Arena League if they're still around. Adrian McPherson exploded in the Arena League and was a similar athlete...assuming Young has maintained any semblance of his former athletic ability. |

Would make sense under Al, not Reggie...Seems were staying away from the headaches...VY's ability is limited, he's not an NFL QB...he should stop wasting time and try to cash a few CFL checks! |

if vince young gets signed, we would cut pamer, and ride with pryor or another free agent signee as our starter for 2013. I would be fine with it because palmer has just as good of a shot at winning 3 games this year as Aaron Rodgers does...God, i hope i'm wrong, but we should look towards 2014 for any sort of hope right now... this would probably be a good long-term (short-term) deal... if that makes any bit of sense... |

VY threw wobblers and floaters his whole career.
TP can have some zip when he chooses to do so. He does tend to float those deep passes I won't argue with that. But that doesn't mean his arm strength is worse than VY's. _________________

Don't try TP like that.
Tyler Bray or Tyler Wilson in the 3rd round would be cool with me _________________

I want Pryor to start we need to know if he is a starter
Or even a backup. I think he will be a above average
QB. With the rumor of VY floating around
If shows that most people in the media see Pryor
As a legitimate option for us, I'm just wondering why
It wasn't far tarvaris Jackson joe Webb or any other
Semi mobile QB being talked about _________________ Raiders/Angels/Lakers |

Im going purely off his one SD game. Im not talking how far he can throw, but the velocity on a pass to pass basis.
But i am in the Cut Palmer see what TP cando camp. (even though i think Palmer is lightyears better) I just dont see us as more than a 6 win team with Palmer next year anyway. |
