Winfield was PFF's #1 ranted corner last year. Vikes don't want good corners, we cut them.

He mostly played on the inside against slot receivers. Of course he was going to be ranked high, he was rarely tested down field. Winfield was put in positions to succeed, he is nowhere near the discussion of top CBs.
