I'm thinking we trade down and hopefully gain a 3rd and our draft goes something like:

1 = Manti Teo MLB Notre Dame
2 = David Amerson CB N.C. State
3 = Brian Schwenke C California
4 = Jordan Mills OG La. Tech
5 = Josh Boyce WR TCU
6 = BPA

I'd rather have Brown or Teo in the 1st but Id be really happy with Amerson in the 2nd and the rest is fine.

I actually would like Teo myself (big ND fan) I'm thinking Teo doesn't make it past the Steelers. If we get Teo, I would be very happy. Matter fact here goes a edit.

I think it's a necessity we sign Urlacher with Roach departing. Without both of them we would need to draft 2 starters. BTW I'm a huge proponent of Arthur Brown in the first. Today, Trestman called Lach a "capable player", is this a euphemism for we're letting him go or we are getting a deal done now?

I like that list, Ima go with:

1 = Warmack
2 = Cooper
3 = Teo
4 = Ogletree
5 = Patterson
6 = Trade back

I feel like Keenan Allen hasn't gotten a lot of recognition on here. At 6'2" 210 pounds, he's got good size, but he also is tough, very fine-tuned and refined as a route runner, and although he's not the fastest or the quickest, he has an undeniable ability to make plays. He shows on tape that he can work out of the slot, as well as going outside occasionally, which would give us some interesting opportunities to put Jeffery or Marshall in the slot and create match-up issues.

I'm not saying he's my #1 target at #20, but I watched his tape and did my research yesterday, and pretty much fell in love with the prospect of having him. Color me intrigued.

Our receivers are good, they just lack speed. It's evident by the amount of big plays we had last year, we need someone who can get behind the defense on a consistent basis. Allen is a solid prospect, but we have two better players in Marshall and Jeffery. If were going to select a WR, lets bring in somebody with a different skillset, like Tavon Austin.

It all depends in what we sign over the next couple of days.

We will be signing LBs in the next couple of days we simply have to to film out the roster. If they are good LBs I think we draft offense, I they are backups then I think we draft LB.

With the needs that we have I think its hard for Emery to pass on Ogletree. LB is a value position for our team and he is a prototypical player for our defense. I say we resign Urlacher and put Ogletree at LOLB for a year (or 2)

1.Ogletree
2.Barrett Jones (trade back?)*
** 3.Tyrann Mathieu **

Bushrod - B.Jones - Garza - L.Louis - Webb/Carimi

Ogletree - Urlacher - Briggs

Tillman - Jennings - T.Mathieu

Completely agree. I would be extremely disappointed if the Bears took Ogletree at 20.

While that is not my first choice I would not be disappointed considering he may well be BPA at that pick. I would definitely be concerned if they took Teo. Very concerned.
