Give me a corner who wraps up any day of the week.

If you're defending option offenses your corner needs to be able to play the pitch.

Think the Fletcher signing is a great start towards revamping our CB's. He's a solid #2 starter and excels in what our former starters in DRC/Nnamdi lacked. Obviously, we need to sign/draft a #1 corner, and while I like the Fletcher signing, he needs competition. Maybe the front office/coaching staff believe Boykin can compete for the #2 and on nickel have him kick in and bring Fletcher on the outside as the #2? IDK but I still think its in our best interest to bring in another #2/3 type of Corner to compete between Boykin & Fletcher, and it's a given we gotta bring in a #1 guy. Wouldn't mind Cason or Milliner honestly.

Fletcher is literally tbe exact opppsite player of DRC.....He actually gives his all every play, can actually cover receivers , and is a great tackler...very physical. If we an sign Cox I will be thrilled. For once, both our starters could actually hit people.

PLEASE sign Cox, Howie.

Also Fletcher is a lot better than Birdman thinks. He will be a very good #2 for us. But I agree with him bout Milliner....not as high on him as most. Prefer Banks and Rhodes

^ Not if Peters eventual back up ends up having the same skillset of the Mattress? The starters "on paper" look fine but that was also the case last season when four of them were decimated by injury. Sure hope a viable OT is added via FA. Toddfather could play LT in a pinch.

Just once I love the Eagles to sign a player and have the some people around here be honest about it.
I like Fletcher, I liked him when he came out and I still think he hasn't met his potential. But be real about it, please.
Fletcher is inconsistant and that is clear by any definition of the word. He commits entirely to many penalties. He's had 4 years in this league with some very good coaching and the mental part of his game is still lacking.
I'm all for giving him a chance to earn a roster spot. Please, stop making it sound like this sound like a clear upgrade, it isn't.

Our corners couldn't cover a textbook and couldn't tackle a double amputee...by being able to do one he's an upgrade. Either way .52 yards given up per coverage snap shows he can cover. Penalties asside he's a good corner, he emerged as a starter, then blew out his ACL, and then a new staff came in, and drafted 2 corners in the first 3 rounds.

The fact that he wraps up is a plus.

That was our Eagles for about 12 games or so this year.
