Per Rotoworld:
Quote:
Both The Sideline View and CSN Philly report the Eagles aren't considering using new CB Bradley Fletcher in the slot.
The Eagles view Fletcher as a pure outside corner, meaning there's a good chance he'll be in the starting lineup come Week 1. Penalties and consistency are parts of Fletcher's game that could use some cleaning up, but he could end up a shrewd signing for Chip Kelly and company.

Great news, let Brandon develop there.

Not really surprising, supposedly He was on the outside anytime he was on the field. Jortland then moved inside to the slot.

Assuming another CB isn't added via FA in the next few days does this mean if Milliner is on the board at #4 he's the selection?

Another thing I like about this guy is that when the receiver is initially possessing the ball, Bradley always sticks his hands in there to try to force a breakup. I see a lot of booth reviews in the future to see if he forced a fumble or if it is an incompletion..did the receiver make a "football move" type stuff perhaps.

The chances are high, though they could be equally fine drafting one in the second, trading down a bit and taking Xavier Rhodes, or trading up to the back end of the first for Desmond Trufant.

I'm really hoping the Bills want to jump up to get Geno.

Wasn't my first choice of FA CBs, but I'm not disappointed. Bradley has some size at 6-0, 200 or so, is a physical player, and very solid in coverage.

Good signing.
Mine neither, but we can still sign one of the top CBs (Lewis, Cox, Cason)..good thing about these "top" CBs is that they're not crazy elite so they won't command a ton of money, hence our increased likelihood to sign one of them because of our crazy cap space..this didn't even really put a dent in our cap space.

I dunno. I think Bradley could be a capable starter. I wouldn't be upset if he was signed as the presumptive "guy" for one side of the field.

I don't see how some can complain about this signing, especially when you look at the money. Solid signing for a young player who still has some upside, hopefully he can improve on his penalty issues. I'd hope we would still look for improvement at cornerback, but it would be interesting to see how Fletcher could perform in a starting role next season.

all these seem to be pretty safe signings. Not much risk which is probably a conscious decision with all the bust signings we had the other year.

WTH, really. need playmakers in the secondary not depth players
Well DRC/and Nnamdi didn't work out.

From what there saying about this guy he is a very solid signing. Fisher is a good coach but he isn't always right.

I can easily see philly go 9-7 and might win the division if healthy . You already have a talented offense and now it all depends how the D goes IMO you guys should of stayed in the 4-3 but who knows.
