+1 I thought DHB would take a paycut. I thought DHB would become the possession WR he was in 2011 and I was going to petition the league to count all his double catches as two receptions! _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

Edit- think it it's $6.65m with $8m for DHB? Lot of cap space with Kelly and McClain likely to go as well. Interesting moves. |
A SURPRISE!, Micheal "WHIFF" daddy!, way to overpriced i admit i was happy with the draft pick at the time, ever since the thanksgiving game against the cowboys, couple years back, i forgot who was the RB for dallas but he shook/broke huffs ankles and scored a TD for 45 plus gain to the hizzzz house. |

Anyone think that Woodson could possibly fill Huffs spot? Mckenzie knows what Woodson can do. _________________

Nope. McKenize is going to let McClain finish his career rotting on the practice squad being a well-paid tackling dummy. Personally, I love it. Get in line. You can't just worm your way out of Oakland to the determent of the team because times are tough. Good message. Everytime McClain opens his mouth he'll be suspended for conduct.
McClain's best course of action? Make amends with Allen, apologize to the teams and fans and ball out like he's been doused in gasoline and set aflame. At least that's what I'm hoping for. Accountability and discipline not celebratory gestures. Why give him what he obviously wants? Probably last cut of TC. _________________ 2013 Mancrush: DT Richardson, OT Joeckel, FS Vaccaro, FS Rambo, WR Dobson, RB Michael, TE McDonald, OT Foketi, WR Swope |

| I'm on board with Reggie. Letting all these free agents walk. I did like Bryant but not with that price tag... cutting DHB, Huff... its was time. Hopefully more to come. I just hope Mark Davis has patience and lets Reggie rebuild the team from the ground up. Give him time guys, this was needed and we will be better because of it. |

The second, third, fourth weeks of free agency, when guys who thought they would break the bank end up realizing their worth, that's when you get solid value, and that's where the Raiders will make their best acquisitions, strengthening the 20-40 section of the roster without killing yourselves financially. |
You look at the Giants, Packers, Pats, Ravens.
These teams are patient. They don't overpay. They get value FAs and build in the draft.
That said, it sucks to be in that mold when your team is just so miserably void of starting talent and you just want to see them be competitive.
Oakland's rebuild is just scratching the surface, so patients has to be exercised. _________________

It sucks when your team hasn't experienced a winning season in a decade and all signs point to 2013 not being any different. _________________
