HEHE, I wish!

Saving up all my pennies. Hopefully when I grow up I can buy a condo in Tampa and report live from the scene of the crime Cool

I mean...I don't want to lol. But it's not like I'm going to root against a player on our team just because I wasn't for signing him

I was almost table-flipping mad when we traded down and missed out on MoCla in the draft last year. So I know that feel, bro.

This and also signing Eric Wright. Knew that guy was [inappropriate/removed] from the get-go.

I was upset when we missed on TR, but looking back I'm glad it worked out how it did. I really like Barron and without the trade we don't get Dougie or David.

Works out for the best IMO that no one got their way. Laughing

Quin just signed in DET, Goldson shouldn't be much longer.

Former 49ers S Dashon Goldson agreed to terms on a five-year deal with Tampa Bay. Really. We're sure.

Goldson isn't like last year when we signed Jackson and Nicks for me, but still I think it's a damn good signing at a HUGE need... we're gonna really need his veteran leadership back there.... I love this signing

Per ESPN insiders

"Tampa Bay is attempting to build the most intimidating safety duo in the NFL with Mark Barron and a potential signing for former San Francisco 49er Dashon Goldson.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Tampa Bay will be Goldson's first stop during his free agency tour. Although, teams shouldn't expect him to leave Tampa Bay once he arrives:

Pat Yasinskas
Bucs already working on secondary
"Im sure the Bucs will put the full-court press on Goldson, and Id be surprised if he gets out of One Buccaneer Place without signing a contract. The Bucs made a similar early splash last year when they quickly signed receiver Vincent Jackson, guard Carl Nicks and cornerback Eric Wright.""

This would be mistake of epic proportions...just like eric wright and just like a few years ago when some of the clowns on here though sean smith was a great signing. We don't need two thumpers playing safety. We need a lockdown playmaker back there not two liabilities in coverage...please god don't waste cap space on this guy

Nice call by Pat... sometimes when I read articles from him I could swear he reads this forum because he talks about the same stuff just a day or so after we talk about it
