In addition to Levitre, the #Titans have also now agreed to terms with former 49ers tight end Delanie Walker

Tians and 49ers TE Delanie Walker reached agreement in a principle on a four-year deal.

Not too shabby. A little worried about him being so small for a TE and Jake overthrowing him but I'll take it. Big shout out to Webster for getting stuff done today.

It's certainly a change from years past. We would never rush to sign the "big name" guys, but hold off, wait until the initial rush of huge contracts passed, and then pick through the bargain bin. I'm not convinced this is the better approach - time will tell. But it's certainly the more exciting approach for us fans!

I think it's okay as long as you do it in moderation. And the positions we have signed so far (TE and OG) we were severely lacking talent.

Still nothing on the financials on this deal. Nervous we over-paid.

Me too. Especially with the word going around of how TE friendly our new offense is going to be it shouldn't be too hard to convince an average TE to come here.

Not bad.

Could be worse.

Thats not bad at all, just over $4m a season for Walker or $8 to 10M for Cook. Easy choice.

I am choosing to view this as paying $1.5 million more total than the Colts gave Erik Walden. Laughing

Solid signing. Gives us that H-Back/TE we need.
