Ziggy is a phenomenal athlete and I'm not trying to start a  but the guys that frustrate me on film sometimes are Kyle Long, Ziggy and Menelik Watson. All unbelievable athletes; phenomenal specimens but low awareness. Not dumb but very awkward when something isn't straight forward.

You would still need to sign people to replace them so its a crap shoot anyways. But you would hope we hit on a few from this year and lock them up halfway through the season |

Not that I'm disagreeing that we're going defense with first pick but why would you think us resigning a backup tackle while we've signed 6 defenders would lead us to choose defense? |

Barnes is better in the PBS. Defense is the only way we need to go w/ the first pick anyway so I'm fine w/ that

Think this means no Fisher or Joeckel if he's there? Barnes shouldn't be a reason to dismiss either, but it could be an indication that we weren't planning on drafting either in the first place.

Hopefully a move to try to dissuade any team trading above us for Fisher.

I agree. I wouldn't take them off my list but it is indicative of what they might do. Also Barnes can play OG.
I think whatever his salary is should tell us what they plan to do more. |
