For more $...

Sorry I never really liked Ross

Well now we get depth for cheap, which is what we need IMO.

I'm ok with it. He's got the athleticism to be a good #3 or #4 on the depth chart. I'm sure he came super cheap. Giants just don't have much $$$ to play with. It's a value signing at a position we are notorious for getting the injury bug in.

I hope it's for vet min. and not for more because that means we signed Aaron ross and lost out on our other free agents. If hes only #4 on the depth chart I think it's fine, but if he gets significant playing time ... god help us all.

Don't like him either. He was bad with the Giatns, and now we got two bottom 10 corners, one that just came out of the third ACL injury and Aaron Ross. Our only good corner is Prince, and he is not even proven to be a #1 yet.

Bucs are reported to be in talks with the Jets for Revis. That means there's a high chance Rhodes falls to us

He was solid his rookie year and started to play well late in the '11 SB run, but overall he got beat like a drum. For a guy known for his "speed and instincts", he's pretty slow and is always out of position. Not happy to see him back at all. Hopefully he's nothing more than a dime-back.

Also I wanna mention that I had him and Revis pegged when they were in college, and I'm normally not that great at predicting prospects. I was so happy when Ross was getting all the hype from playing at Texas and making some flashy returns. I thought it meant Revis might fall us to, but stupid Jets had to snatch him and leave us Ross.
