He's not Reed's replacement... he's Pollard's depth at SS... and he did a very nice job in Pollard's role when Pollard went down. Ihedigbho is a key depth signing...
He also was a pretty good special teams contributor IIRC. _________________

I like it. Good depth guy.
And, someone pointed out in the NFL News thread -- Ihedigbo has been to four straight AFCCGs and two straight Super Bowls as part of 3 different teams. It appears he's the key. _________________

Let's hope we don't jinx it. Though, there seems to be a trend he's developing... two straight losses in the AFC Championship game, two straight wins in the AFCCG... two straight Super Bowl wins? _________________

Yeah. He's not a starter, by any means, but he's got a role to play, and he can play it well enough to warrant his place on the roster. Plus, with Reed a free agent, shoring up the depth at Safety has to be a good thing. _________________

So should I be preparing for another heart breaking lost in the AFCCG? If the pattern is to remain true... we have to lose two more times with him on the team for him to pay dividends in equalling the big one. _________________
