Could Victor Cruz be the Colts’ target? Irsay might have dropped a hint when he said “Everyone stand buy [sic], pour strong drink…do ur voodoo, Colts need the strength of it’s nation to get this wopper [sic] in the boat! DO U UNDERSTAND!?” Cruz, for those of you who don’t know, has his own clothing line called Young Whales. Could the founder of Young Whales be the “wopper” Irsay is referring to?

I know, and as someone already mentioned the Walrer reference was from The Big Lebowski. My point was that they were fishing for clues

It's going to be some mediocre receiver, and I'll be both disappointed and relieved.

Not Cruz!

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6313/victor-cruz

Quote:
Owner Jim Irsay confirmed Sunday night that restricted free agent Victor Cruz is not the wide receiver the Colts are targeting."It's not Cruz," Irsay said. Giving up a first-round pick for Cruz, in addition to a top-five wide receiver contract, was never remotely realistic. Other rumored targets include Seahawks slot man Doug Baldwin and Eagles contract-year wideout Jeremy Maclin, particularly after Philly traded for Arrelious Benn.

I never believed that Cruz and Sanders were ever considered to be targets. Or Fitz for that matter. I wouldn't mind Baldwin at all.

I don't see how Benn, who has been fairly bad thus far is an adequate replacement for Maclin in the slightest......but anyway.....

What would you guys feel is fair for Maclin? If it is him....the fact you guys don't have a 2nd really makes me wonder what the trade would be.

Just a 3rd would be awful value for us, and I'd imagine you guys wouldn't want it to be the 1st obviously. So it'd likely have to be a package of some kind I guess from one side or the other.

Eagles are switching to a 3-4, right? Maybe we send a LB (Hughes or Connor/Angerer?) and a 4th.
