While it does seem like we gave him too much money I wouldn't want to start saying how much Walden sucks just yet. I remember just a couple of years ago laughing quietly to myself at the Bears when they signed Tim Jennings. Now the guy is playing awesome for them and is one of the better cornerbacks in the league. You can't say that Walden is definitely going to suck on the colts.

I definitely didn't say that, I am simply stating the fact that if he doesn't perform(as many GB posters have stated in this thread) then we don't owe him too much guaranteed money!!

On the Jennings thing, I love Tim always have, was pissed when we didn't even RFA tender him!! Good move Polian!!

Man to go back and look at Jennings comments from a few years ago, I think I was the only fan on the forum that had his back!!

I was just stating what I thought about the situation. I didn't quote anything you said so I'm confused why you thought I was talking specifically to you. Mostly it was to everyone who was hating on the guy before he even played a down for the colts. But Tim Jennings was awful when he played for the colts. I'm really not sure how that can be a question. He was the guy teams went after every game. Something clicked in Chicago that didn't work here.

I beg to differ but if you care to resume the conversation feel free to start a Tim Jennings thread!!! No sense talking about it in here!

The "whites" part of that does make sense though...

The quote he made is from Big Lebowski...it is in no way Kevin Walter.

I'm gonna say Randy Moss.

That is not worth even 1 tweet, let alone all the ones he's had

Arizona
WR
Walter-2003 Larry Fitzgerald Pittsburgh- Walter camp winner!

I kind of don't want it to be Fitz.

He'd be a great asset to the team and all, but we'd have to give up a lot for him too.

That would be crazy. But I think he's too high profile.
And doesn't he also have a no trade clause or something?

Another possibility is cruz

Considering the team he is on and the quarterbacks he has been working with....I think he would consider waving that clause. Not that i think it's him or anything.

Owner Jim Irsay recently tweeted that the Colts are pursuing a wide receiver, and the Indianapolis Star speculates it may be Doug Baldwin.
Quote:
The Indy Star is just connecting dots, but they do connect. Baldwin was pushed down Seattle's depth chart following Percy Harvin's acquisition, and Baldwin played with Colts quarterback Andrew Luck and under new OC Pep Hamilton at Stanford. We suspect Seattle could net a fifth- or sixth-round pick for Baldwin.

I would be ok wih trading 6th rounder for Baldwin! Since we don't have a 5th..Prob would have 2014 conditional 5th included!

Baldwin makes more sense. The Arizona connection is simply because the NFL's annual meeting is in Phoenix, as others have said.

I doubt it's anyone high profile, like Cruz or Fitz, because the cost is prohibitive. The Colts window is just beginning to crack open, but the number of picks it would take to get either player would have crippling long-term ramifications for a minimal short-term gain. Spending a 6th round pick on a guy like Baldwin, who we know can play, is a much more savvy move because 6th round picks are all lottery anyway.

Baldwin is the hyped up wide receiver? Give me a break. I hate Irsay so much some times, and that won't change if this is true
