Several NFL tms approached WSU asst Jim Mastro (who helped develop The Pistol) to learn abt defending the scheme, but he declined.

Mastro told those NFL teams that as long as Colin Kaepernick is in NFL he won't help em with ways to defend The Pistol[\quote]

Well, if he wants a job, I'm sure Jim can find something for him.

Yep. I believe so too.

Bobby Wagner said on the NFL Network set the pistol isn't all that hard to stop and they know what to do. He said the key is to give different looks and make them go to one option.

Lets see how we adjust..............................

It's not the pistol that caused the problems, it was the option. You don't need the pistol to run an option play, and you don't have to run an option from the pistol. The point to the pistol is to get the QB back from the line so he can see the D a little better, but still have a back behind him so the back has some momentum when he gets the handoff.

What a stupid statement. That's how you stop everything.

Naw, it wasn't stupid at all. He broke some of it down, but I just put the basic statement. They had a great plan and dictated where Kaepernick would go with the ball.
