Instead of filling the forum with multiple free agency threads, I figured I could just start one up for all signings.

Pancakes is reporting Brice McCain and Tim Dobbins are getting a lot of attention from multiple teams.

(1) Thanks for starting the thread, LJC

(2) McCain = buyer beware

I know Houston won't be overly active in FA, but there seem to be a bevy of free agents we could sign to fill some of our holes. Most of them seem to be on the defensive side, but that could also be due to the fact that we have more needs there. I'm wanting to sign a starting NT (Roy Miller comes to mind) and also add some secondary help (backup safety, nickel corner). If we can take care of these needs, it should help lighten what we need to do come draft time. I'll try and get a list going of players I would want.

I wouldn't read too much into it, the Lions have been linked to just about everyone so far.

While I don't expect a big splash in FA, I do think it's important that we sign another CB with starting experience. Derek Cox and Keenan Lewis intrigue me. Lewis played pretty well, but isn't a playmaking CB. Cox played pretty well last year, but has had an injury-riddled career. I think either could come pretty cheap. I like the Safety draft class this year, and Safeties tend to adjust quickly to the NFL from college.

We can make a big signing if we lose Quin and Barwin, but I'd rather have them

On a bright note it appears the browns might sign Kruger, which will eliminate a potential suiter for Barwin, dropping his price. I'd like him back but not at more than say 4 million per
Season

Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider 28m

Hearing good chance Cliff Avril will go to the Colts, but nothing concrete yet.

Damn them and their copious amount of cap space! Although while I believe Avril have talent, he was surrounded by A LOT of talent on the Detroit DL.

Also how is Detroit speculated on all then FA's, I thought they we up against the cap with Megatron and Staffords cap numbers?

IIRC Stafford is supposed to re-do his deal to free up space (as well as Megatron).... should be hearing something soon

If we can re-sign Quin and sign Patrick Chung I will be ecstatic.

Free agent CB Brice McCain's rep believes he's worth $3.5-$5 million per season.
"I would say Brice probably fits in there," McCain's rep said.

Surprised D-bo is looking for a multi-year... but then again every player wants security
