That was quick, the Ravens got a good value back since teams around the league knew they are expected to release Boldin after he refused to take a pay-cut.

Vikings had offered a seventh-round pick for Anquan Boldin, per source with knowledge of the discussions.

The 49ers had about 15 picks in the 2013 draft, this doesn't even bother them.

Don't like it. Find $2m and let him play his final year.

This better have some sort of final end result that makes sense. Otherwise, I just don't see the point. When used correctly, he was dominant for us.

Anquan Boldin needs to pass physical before trade with 49ers becomes complete; he's in Africa on mission. Physical, trade completion await.

I don't think there's any reason why he wouldn't be able to complete a physical.

This kind of sucks. I don't think Boldin was particularly great but I still hoped Baltimore would work out a way to keep him around. It's looking like taking a WR with a high pick is definitely in the cards now. I don't think it would look too good to trade Boldin and then use the cap space generated from that move to just go and spend it on a free agent WR.

Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

I'm going to try and not go SnA here but this sucks. A sixth-round pick? Seriously Ozzie? This is mind-numbingly dumb. Receiver just became a significant need for us now. Awesome, it's not like we didn't have enough holes already.

Ugh.

Just gonna wait and see how the dust settles here.

Is there really not a single crappy team willing to offer a 6th rounder though?

Maybe it's one of those "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" type deals that will help us get something from them in the future at a good value.

Let's hope at least.
