Don't like it. Find $2m and let him play his final year.
This better have some sort of final end result that makes sense. Otherwise, I just don't see the point. When used correctly, he was dominant for us.

I don't think there's any reason why he wouldn't be able to complete a physical.
This kind of sucks. I don't think Boldin was particularly great but I still hoped Baltimore would work out a way to keep him around. It's looking like taking a WR with a high pick is definitely in the cards now. I don't think it would look too good to trade Boldin and then use the cap space generated from that move to just go and spend it on a free agent WR. |

I'm going to try and not go SnA here but this sucks. A sixth-round pick? Seriously Ozzie? This is mind-numbingly dumb. Receiver just became a significant need for us now. Awesome, it's not like we didn't have enough holes already.

Maybe it's one of those "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" type deals that will help us get something from them in the future at a good value.
