I knew the agent he had wouldn't last. That was the problem from the beginning was arrogance of his former agent.

Also it means that Cruz cannot sign a contract for 3 days due to the agent changing rules

Minny just sent Percy Harvin to Seahawks...

Boldin just traded to 9ers...

Seems like he is at least wanting to come back, hooking up with an agent that has a very good relationship with the Giants and agent of his quarterback. I want him back here also. He's very explosive.

If he wants too much money though there is always Stedman Bailey in the 3rd round. Wink

Boldin to the 49ers. Cannot perform physical bc hes in africa on a mission.

Baltimore making a move for cruz is the next rumor. So far
Minnesota
St louis
Baltimore

Also changing agents has to wait 3 days before making any signings. A deal will be done!!

No way Baltimore is making a move for Cruz. They just let Boldin leave over 2$ million.

Let me give you my personal opinion, on what I think has happened.
It all started with the release of the coke machine in Brandon Jacobs.

Makes sense since Harvin is likely heading to Seattle.

Cruz needs to take a look at the career path of Steve Smith. His agent is being very short-sighted here. Another team can/will pay more than the Giants, but not enough to make up for the marketing deals that will be lost when he leaves NYC. This is THE market. I am sure Mara's made a more than respectable offer. This is not a time to be greedy and lose sight of what is at stake. He can play for a perennial contender, in (virtually) his hometown, with a great QB, and have endless endorsement opportunities... OR he can take a little extra cheese now and sacrafice everything else.

Victor Cruz needs the Giants more than the Giants need Victor Cruz... FACT.

Not even a question that is the case.

All of his family is in NJ.
All of his endorsements are in NYC

Unless there is a huge difference between what NYG and what team B is offering he is not leaving

The guy's a baller. He does his best work with option routes, but he's an awesome deep threat too. Wait...what am I saying? Stay away Mad

***Update***
Quote:
Several sources believed the Patriots would make a run at Cruz, but that was prior to Cruz changing agents recently and going with Tom Condon, who the Pats generally don't do business with. While in the past, in general, restricted free agent activity has been limited, some teams are aggressive and looking to make moves to add to the offense, and there are no shortage of teams with abundant cap space.
