Seattle sends this years first round pick and a 7th rounder as well as a mid-round pick next year for Harvin. Win-win for both teams

I'm content with this compensation for Harvin.
I did expect true value for Harvin would be a 1st +
Tho I can't say that I'm happy.
Happy would have entailed Harvin staying in MIN. _________________

Thoughts thus far on the deal, love it.
Getting a 1st for Harvin this year is great, gives us a lot of flexibility, a 7th who cares, could end up being good, probably not only about 3 are per every 7th round. But mid round pick I read as 3rd or 4th, which is nice value and could end up being starter. _________________

I knew Rick wouldn't dump him for a second round pick. Rick got a steal in my opinion. _________________

Great trade for both teams. Spielman loves future picks. |

With the extra first... do we go after Victor Cruz? _________________

Heck of a trade. Spielman should see if they wanna swap back-up QB's now. _________________ Don't blame me, i wanted fletcher cox, cordy glenn, aaron donald, and derrick carr. |

Fun fact: Vikings get more in return than for Randy in 2005. I didnt see that coming. Nice job Mr. Spielman. _________________

That is a great idea!! Get a proven player at a position that is by far our biggest need.. |

You gotta hand it to Spielman on this one. He has a knack for creating markets for things that may or may not exist.
This and the 3rd overall pick last year have me impressed.
Now we just have to hit on the picks we get, and with last year's class, I have faith we can. |

Sorry to see you go Percy, at least you are going to a team where I am also a pretty big fan
It won't happen, but I hope we trade out of the 1st round this year for a shot at going into 2014 with 3 or 4 picks in the 1st round... long shot, but it's what I want. This draft just doesn't do it for me in the 1st round _________________ 2013 Adopt a Minnesota Viking - Xavier Rhodes - CB - #29

Kind of, Moss pick was #7 in round one. _________________

Starting at pick #20 this is a great first round draft. _________________

I like this idea if we miss out on Wallace or Jennings. Otherwise, I'd rather use the pick elsewhere. Either way we're shelling out a big new contract, I'd just rather shell out that contract to a guy who won't require draft pick compensation as well. |

Yeah I can't see Spielman keeping both first round picks. He will try and trade back grabbing another 3rd round pick. _________________
