So... all aboard the Po'uha train?

That would be a big risk entrusting a rookie/Cam Thomas combo at NT.

Big Hank/Jenk in the second time.

Better go for one of the Williamseses. There's something about that name that just screams defensive tackle.

Jesse is really overrated IMO. Sylvester isn't a NT.

Any truth to rumors that Brad Jones may be on the Chargers radar at ILB. I think we still need some help filling spots before the draft and ILB is a need. It would be nice to get someone like jones who would be fairly cheap and servicable (I use this word way too much).

Depends on the scheme for Sly. Thing is, I don't believe Pags has been asking out NG to 1-gap all that much, so that kind of takes Sylvester out of the mix. He could actually be a solid 1-gapping NT, not 2-gapping though.

Can't believe we lost him.....

That really hurts us going forward.

Not sure, it'll hurt this year, but i'm not sure how it will hurt us long run, Franklin is close to running on fumes, and i think we're trying to build for long term right now, even look at the guys we signed, Cox is 26, Phillips is 25, Woodhead is 27/28, Rinehart is 27. Looks like we're not building to win this year, but we're building up for the near future (probably 2 years down the road).

Damn it, I was just watching Gehlken on the UT and he was saying that right now Clary is penciled in to be the starter at RT or he may move to guard. Confused

That makes me want to quit.

How does a guy that's so obviously horrible keep getting a pass?

I wasn't being serious with my previous comment. I just thought it was weird how many good DTs recently have been named Williams... and on top of that there's three more projected to be Day 1 or 2 picks.

It is mind-boggling.

At first I thought Clary kept getting a pass since he was AJ's boy but now.......

I mean what do they see on film that gives them confidence to move forward with him at RT?

Speaking of Gehlken, what is the deal with the UT's reporting of Gaither's contract? They said last year that he had $13.5M guaranteed, which would mean that this year's base salary is fully guaranteed, right? Gehlken is now saying that cutting Gaither would clear his base salary from the books. Which is right?

There's a posibility that that was "guaranteed" based on his health, or there was some clause in the contract that if he ended up on IR they would be able to clear him from the books or something like that.
