With my 100th post of FootballsFuture, I thought I'd create a topic regarding Free Agency and whats going around.

From what I can tell, San Diego has shown strong interest in Andy Levitre, they've also contacted the agents of Sebastian Vollmer and Aqib Talib, and are apparently interested in Laron Landry.

Man would I love Levitre, 26, played with D'alessandris in Buffalo and knows the system.

Damn a Vollmer-Levitre combo in FA's would be AMAZING......... Pray

Laron Landry would be a good signing but we'd be locking way too much money into our safeties.

I am not as high on Levitre as most & think we're better off bringing in someone cheaper. We have got to get good value on all our signings this year if we are going to move forward at all.

Wow Aqib Talib? There's a name you would have NEVER heard under the AJ Smith regime.

Cardinals cut Beanie, I hope we kick the tires and see how much he wants.

BS, what don't you like about Levitre? He's certainly better than Vasquez IMO

Price tag. at 3m/year I like him, he is probably going to get 6 though.

1. Keep Vasquez (or Green, if Vasquez is too expensive)
2. Sign a starting RT (who can play LT if we can not get Fischer or Johnson ; Vollmer is perfect here. Andre Smith or a cheaper Loadholt)
3. Get a starting G (Levitre)
4. Get a #2 CB (Jerraud Powers)

Maybe if we had like 25 million in cap space. Laughing

If we cut Garay, we should have around US$ 17m cap space. Let's round it up to US$ 20m because our new GM is good.
US$ 6m Vasquez
US$ 6m Loadholt
US$ 6m Levitre
US$ 2m Powers
... Ok next time I count first.
And we trade all our draft picks for 2014 draft picks

I'm not completely sure but if we cut Garay, Whitehurst, Clary, McMichael, Gaither and possibly Royal(the others I'm sure will all be cut at some point but Royal might not) we could have around 25 million in cap room.

If we get Winston and Levitre, that'd be huge.

I think Talib is an interesting pick. I think if he can get his head straight he could be a top 10 corner. At a low price he could be the steal of 2013 FA. I think we should sign

Sign:
CB: TALIB
OG: LEVITRE or VASQUEZ (cheaper of the two)
RT: Winston
SS: Wilson
OG: Sevicable and cheapish

Draft:
OT: JOKE,FISCH or JOHNSON Rd1
ILB: Minter, Teo, Alonzo Rd 2 (or 3 for Alonzo)
WR
RB

Not really a Cap numbers guy but we may be able to price these guys out with $17 Mil.

I am not a fan of a player who is going to play for 3 different teams in 3 years.
