Prayers goes out to Kevin Ware... Probably one of the worst injury I've ever seen. Confused

What happened? I can't stand seeing gory injuries, otherwise I would just look it up.

Looked like there was a knee in the middle of his shin. Totally gross. I was sick watching it on TV so I can totally see how the players and Pitino were crying having seen it. Worst injury I've seen since Joe Theisman.
Haven't seen it and never will. All I had to do is see the reactions of those who witnessed it. I knew then I didn't want to see it.

How the world likes baseball blows my mind. Every time anyone ever talks about it.

I think the same thing anyone says anything about soccer.

The only thing I follow about baseball are my Red Sox.

It amazes me that people continue supporting the Rockies. They try even less than the Marlins to win a WS.

In all reality, baseball is a game that you won't like unless you grew up playing it. It's not a game filled with action, but it's a very technical game, and involves quite a bit of skill. It's a thinking mans game in my book.

I can really watch any sport and enjoy it...except for like MMA and sports like that. I don't really watch the NBA much either.

This.

Baseball is Americas past time, whether you choose to believe it or not. It is. The sport is for the purists of the world and for those that consider life to be more than just high-emotion and tons of action. As BD said, its a thinking sport. You have to be really clued in to the nuances of the game.

This youtube video is a perfect example of the thinking and action between pitches. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpbU8vlGlzk

I am not too confident in the Nuggets after hearing about Ty's injury. Andre Miller has been exposed big time while starting, not sure why he wants more playing time, he can barely keep up with any point guard. I don't know how many times he's hurt our D by not keeping with his man.

I like baseball, but what I don't like is players taking forever between pitches. Fine adjust your gloves, just don't meander around for 20 seconds thinking about the meaning of life.

Yeah when you need a bucket he comes through, but on defense it's another story. Evan Fournier? I didn't see the game where he had 19 points, he seems to be better than I thought at the basket, not sure about his passing skills. Nuggets are fine as long as Lawson comes back come playoff time.

All part of the mental aspect of the game my friend.

Definitely a distraction for pitchers, who like the up-tempo

I didn't watch the game, but saw the highlights. He looks to be smooth going in the paint (not going out of control)and finished nice with some tough layups. Maybe he's been able to improve that aspect with Iggy guarding him in practice? I like his stroke but you can tell he needs that confidence at times. I think he could be a Kevin Martin type of player.

I hope Ty comes back healthy by then, we'll need his speed and defense. Plus, he seems to be some-what clutch till he airballs a few shots (could be due to injury).

I just think they could speed things up a bit. You don't think they take too long?
