Coakley was one of the good guys in the game. He will be missed by the fans and the organization. This was a cut that most of us new was coming for quite some time. It makes sense and was inevitable wether we transition to a 3 - 4 defense or not. But, it doesn't guarantee anything regarding FA or draft picks IMO

It might be coakleys time to leave but he was exciting to watch!

I remember when we first drafted Coackley, I was so pissed. But after time you saw that even though he was undersized he played the position better than most in the league. He will be missed but you know someone has to leave for somebody else to take his place. Hopefully him being cut brings in somebody to fill in his shoes.

I was reading that he will test FA and run all offers thru Valley Ranch to see if they can match or come close to any offers he receives.
He might not be gone, but for 3.3 million he will be.
