You traded Nick Foles for a NYJ 3rd round pick but drafted Eric Teid with a NYJ 2nd round pick. _________________

Honestly, I don't see us getting Slay, Collins, and Reid. If it did happen though, I would be ecstatic. Our defense would have a bright future with those guys. Obviously, I don't like the Geno pick, but to each his own.
FA is pretty good. Cason is a stud and i would love to have him in Philly. Winston would be a solid RT. Not sold on Jean-Francois, but Glover Quin would be a solid pick up. Don't think we should take a risk on McClain. The dude is beyond a head case at this point. Signing him is a much bigger risk then reward. Alan Branch would be solid in the middle, as we need a big guy to play NT.
Overall there is some interesting ideas in here. Some I like a lot, some not so much. |

No to Geno. You overpay Cason. And Alan Branch is not a NT. _________________

Actually Branch is a nose tackle. I believe he plays NT in Seattles defense.
Also this mock is meant to completely overhaul the team. It isn't the most realistic mock but I wanted to totally revamp the team.We suck and there are only like 10-12 guys I want back as starters next year.
And Birdman...I know its hard for your feeble mind to comprehend such things, but we are moving to a 3-4 defense, when not a lot of our guys fit。 We need a completely new secondary outside of the secondary. On defense alone we very well may field up to 6 or 7 new starters. This is a completely different staff with a team in rebuild mode. I could easily see there being up to 8-10 new starters on the team.
The ONLY guys who belong in the starting lineup who were on the team last year on D are Cox, Ryans, Kendricks, Graham, and Boykin. That's it.
Need new starters
NT
3-tech
SLB
Both CBs
Both safeties
Right tackle or guard
QB
There's 9 right there.
That wasn't too much information for your small mind to process was it?
Come at me bro.
I mean I'm not surprised that you're the way you are Birdman..you do live in Key West. I've never met an inelligent person who actually lived there. _________________

No Alan Branch is a 3-tech. And underachiever and lacks motor. _________________

Branch plays NT in Seattle, not the three tech. He had a good 2011 but a down 2012.
For the record, bacon does overpay for Cason and the Eagles need a 5 tech, not a 3 tech. _________________

I would rather overpay for Cason then miss out on him. And we need a 3 tech for depth only probably. You are absolutely right that we need a starter at 5 tech though, unless Cedric Thornton is gunna start... |

Come at you with what. You are clueless.
This team will do very little in free agency, period.
3 months ago Chip Kelly couldn't tell anyone jack squat about players in the NFL, who fit in his system or even what his system would even look like in the NFL.
3 months later, not much has changed. He hasn't had the opportunity to evaluate his own players but in you infinite wisdom, you have him picking up 8-9 new players in free agency and drafting a below average NFL prospect at QB.
Stupidity, nothing more. Especially givin the fact that the GM and owner have both stated that this organization has gotten away from building through the draft and we will be getting back to that philosophy starting now.
Anyone that thinks a QB with one win in the NFL is worth a 3rd round pick is just completely out of touch or 15 years old
A quality DE that plays the run extremely well is worth a bit more then a 5th round pick, ya know, for future reference.
The fact I am retired and living in, houses I own, in Key West and Clearwater Beach all by the age 30 clearly demonstrates that I lack intelligence. Or as you put it, inelligent. _________________

Doesn't mean he should or that we shouldn't seek out better options there.

Well you have to remember the last time billy boy coached alan branch he was kind of a failure that never reached his potential. Why would he want him again? _________________
