Every vet ends up in NE

Must be a rule in the NFL guide somewhere.

Bet Brady is pissed about Welker.

I don't dislike what the Pats did. Amendola could blow up with Brady (he destroyed us on TNF). Risky with his injury history but Welker is getting older and the dropsies have hurt him.

If Talib & Gronk don't go down Tom would have 4 rings... Hope A-Dub goes there.

Even after all the signings, it seems like they are still well under the cap. I wonder if they will spend on a bigger player

Replaces Vinnie or Eason in the rotation.

DD, CC, DC and MS

Very nice, all massive mobile men.

Scrub DE off our draft chart, as i think Nick Eason gets another year at vet min or something similar.

We probably will go a NT somewhere, to spell Big Dan and cover for injuries.

I could have sworn he played some Linebacker for the Raiders a couple of years back. Wonder what weight he carries now.

I watch quite a bit of Raider games (family is Raider fans) he did not play LB. but he was actually a pretty good pass rusher IMO

I love what the team is doing adding both depth and talent. I think now they can go into the draft and not have to worry about certain positions (ILB, CB). I believe in Drew Stanton. Obviously BA and Moore know QB's and Keim knows talent, so if they made the decision to make Stanton the starter then i have full faith

Mike Jurecki‏@mikejurecki
Since March 1 the Cardinals have made 21 transactions, same as Pete Carroll did when he first arrived in Seattle. #newroster #AzCardinals

Says we're still gonna sign 4-5 more UFA's...

New regime, cleaning up from a coach with to much power and a GM who didn't do a lot.

Gonna be rough in the NFC West

I think what we're doing is also reflective of the changing of NFL free agency. You see a lot of FA's on short contracts now - it just makes sense because when you move from one team to another there's a good chance you won't be worth as much as what your stock looked like with your old team - due to new system, fit, or just not being evaluated perfectly.

In retrospect - if we had taken this strategy with players like Daryn Colledge, Stewart Bradley, and Adam Snyder then we would have only made a short mistake rather than putting ourselves in a hole like we have. Man, if you look at Colledge's contract right now - that looks awful in the context of this year's free agency. An average guard for 7 mil per year on a long deal - ugh.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000151641/article/plenty-of-early-interest-in-qb-matt-hasselbeck

Quote:
The Tennessee Titans released Hasselbeck after he declined to reduce the $5.5 million owed on the final year of his deal

Quote:
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported the Cardinals, Bills, Bears, Bengals, Browns, Colts, Saints, Giants, 49ers and Buccaneers have all shown early interest.

With two relatively young guys who are basically unknowns, it would be smart to add a more seasoned veteran just in case they don't pan out. Hasselback would be a great locker room presence and can still win a few games. I'd think that if we really wanted him we could get him since only us and the Bills don't have unquestioned starters out of the groups interested. On the other hand, we're supposedly going to draft a QB too so somebody would have to be on the outs.

Do you think that the reason we cut Rhodes and signed Bell might be becaus Arians and co really like Bethel and want to see him be the starter in the near future?
