Brinkley will be a good cheap starting calibre ILB. Hope he does not leave.

A combination of him and Alexander would be a good IMO. I think we could get solid ILB play from both and Alexander could still play on ST if he shares defensive snaps with Brinkley.

Does this not mean our ILB are DW, Walker, Alexander and maybe Brinkley?

We wouldnt carry more than 4 I would think, so no draft additions?

Eagles sign S Phillips and CB Williams, both would have looked good out in the desert, both reasonably cheap

Also on verge of signing Barwin.

Does our FO have phone numbers of anyone's agent?

Barwin gsts 6 years and $40 mil from Eagles

How could we have not matched that? We have the cap space

What is the plan here? Go cheap again, like cards of the 90s?

We need to be careful with cap room. We have to re-up Peterson next year probably.. just a thought..

I know that, but he will cost $8 - $10 a year

We can afford that and chase a Barwin for example

If Kolb goes, we go chase another decent/big name too

I think you're undershooting there Tex..

http://www.spotrac.com/top-salaries/nfl/cap-hit/cornerback/

Those are the top 10 and Peterson will want to get north of 10M/year.

6'5 280

Replaces Vinnie or Eason in the rotation.

DD, CC, DC and MS

Very nice, all massive mobile men.

Scrub DE off our draft chart, as i think Nick Eason gets another year at vet min or something similar.

We probably will go a NT somewhere, to spell Big Dan and cover for injuries.
