Exactly the type of signing we need. He isn't premier but he would be give us a reliable and affordable player.
Put a decent safety back behind them, and I think we're fine with Cason-Captain-Thomas-Dockery-Norman
It's just that other teams with more cap space will give him way too big an offer. |

I don't see why. Cason is not very good. As of Week 13, Cason had allowed 5 touchdowns and QBs had a 103.4 QB Rating when targeting him.

Yea, he's had two down years so maybe that drives his price down. But the Chargers weren't good either.
Like I thought, Cason's best year was with Rivera:
