Yeah screw it. Fills big need, he's 6'1 210 with 33 3/4 arms and ran a 4.43 40. 11'0 in broad jump too for what it matters. Big, fast, long arms. Has the tape to back it up. Did well as CB for years and he's a physical guy. I like him more than Dee.

I'd love to add Rhodes, but #2 is just too early for him. He'll probably be a solid CB and fits what we want there for sure, but it's just too hard for me to think he has that same real 'gamebreaker' potential in that Petersen/Claiborne mould.

Perhaps, but I think I'd for sure prefer him over about 9 guys in the poll.

Geno - I just explained this and I have numerous times
Joeckel, Fisher, Warmack - The value isn't there
Datone - Too early for him. Could potentially get him at #33.
Werner & Moore - Not great scheme fits and are overrated prospects - people are starting to realize that. Mingo, Jordan, and Ansah are all better options.
Jarvis - There is no reason for a rebuilding team to select a guy with a degenerative condition.
Dee - He's my #2 CB behind Rhodes and he isn't as good of a scheme fit as Rhodes who, like I said, is a perfect fit with what Seattle did at the CB position.

Can't we get a great QB later like Seattle did with Wilson?

Isnt it more likely to find a CB late than a QB though? I get your point though too

Maybe, maybe not.

Anyway, point is, I don't know what I want at #2 that is "reasonable". I want a LEO or a DT. If we go CB, I'd rather have Rhodes than Milliner regardless of what people think about their stock.

Mingo, Jordan, Ansah
Star, Sharrif

I guess those would be my top 5 even if people think it's "too early" for Mingo or even Jordan or Ansah.

If we can trade back though then do that.

JJ > Geno > Jordan > milliner > Joekel > Fisher > the rest

I am still not sold on mingo. I need some convincing.

I am man enough to admit when I am wrong on a prospect, and I believe I was wrong to hate on him.

I looked over like 7 or 8 of his games and tried to ignore how he bounces and doesn't drop back. I just looked at his ability.

I really like how he keeps his eyes down field and it is clear that he mastered the offense; which is important to me.

I still have concerns over his adjustment to an NFL scheme, but I think it is clear that gus bradley wants to have a scheme that adjusts to the strength of the players. I believe jedd's offense can work to geno's strengths. We will not be a better team until the QB position improves. Gotta swing till you hit.

Note: It still bothers me that he is from WVU and that he takes some really bad sacks; among other things.
