#Bengals re-sign RB Cedric Peerman and have tendered to S Jeromy Miles (RFA), WR Andrew Hawkins and LB Vincent Rey (Ex. rights)

Hawkins caught 51 passes for 533 yards and 4 TDs in 2012 and provided the Bengals with a number of big plays with his YAC ability.

Peerman is mostly a special teamer and back-up running back.

As an outsider to the Bengals', I've always been a big fan of Peerman. He's a tenacious runner with deceptive speed and excellent character. Hopefully you guys play him a little more next year. Wink

I'm guessing the Bengals won't make many moves at the RB position, so he'll likely be the #2.

Though, i could see them drafting someone and moving him down the depth chart pretty fast. I don't think the coaching staff has ever been a big fan of his.

Restricted free agent tender. Means he can be offered a contract for another team, but they would have to give up the round of the draft pick he was drafted at (in this case, there wouldn't be a pick). Catch is the Bengals have the right to match, and Hawkins doesn't have any choice in the matter.

If no one offers him a contract, he comes to the Bengals on a 1 year el'cheapo deal.

Love that baby hawk is going to be back. Miles is a good player to have back as well. He actually looked decent at safety and has always been a beast on ST...

No shock, but I am glad they are all back. Each plays a big part on this team, mostly on special teams. I have high hopes for Hawk this year. We need to utilize him more
