That's good news. I think Webster has a bounce back year so I'm glad he didn't get cut. But I was all for cutting him at that salary. Next on the list to go is DD. I know Tom is very loyal to the guy's that have been warriors for him but it's just business.

I feel the same I don't wanna see Cory go but that salary was ridiculous and I'd like to see Eli reconstruct his contract to his hitting the cap 20 mil this year at least lengthen it to spend it out over time

Great move by us, I never agreed with people that thought he should be cut after 1 terrible year. I always thought we should just restructure, hopefully next year we will have a better pass rush to help him out and its always nice to have a veteran on our defense.

With prince taking over the number 1 duties, Webster shouldnt get so abused

Hopefully we have the ability to resign Cruz now. I think he needs to be priority... Even with a bad year last year he was still one of the most productive WR.

Thank you Corey, now step it up! Last year was horrific to watch...

That puts us at 8 or 9 million under the cap with these two moves

I was hoping we'd bring a definite upgrade at cornerback, but he was good before last year. Hope he bounces back.

I usually like giving someone another chance after an off year, but he was just terrible. He didn't look like he belonged on a field at all. We saw it week 1 vs Dallas, and it continued until week 16 vs Baltimore. Aside from at the league minimum, I don't want him on the roster. I don't think I can be convinced that his cap number couldn't be better spent on keeping Bennett or Phillips.

New details on Corey Webster's contract: Salary was cut from $7M to $1.25M. He also got a signing bonus ($2.5M) and a voidable year added...

Alright now I like the move. You aren't going to get a cornerback for cheaper than that.

I dont see him bouncing back to what he used to be, but I can see him being that cb that doesn't need to be replaced because he's good enough.

The #Bills have re-signed CB/returner Leodis McKelvin to a four-year, $20M contract. Story being posted ASAP at @FOXSports.com

I think McKelvin is okay, but if thats the price of cornerbacks in free agency then Corey at 5.3M this year is a great deal.

I'd still like to see a corner drafted early. If we can squeeze one decent year out of Webster and go into 2014 with Prince, Hosley, and another good young corner I'd be pretty happy.

I'm on the Desmond Trufant if he's there at 19 bandwagon

Agreed. This draft has some pretty good corners, so I would definitely like to see us draft one. Trufant is a good option.
