He's hot and cold, with more cold spells than hot.
He's big, really big, and doesn't move well. It's also pretty clear he isn't the most confident guy. If he's doing well, he'll normally keep his name quiet for a stretch. But once he gets beat big time, expect more of the same until he somehow breaks out of it.
Very average tackle, should be a depth guy. _________________

I think we overstate just how bad King Dunlap is. He's a viable starting LT, he just gets lumped in with the rest of our crappy line because we were horrid at QB, C, RG and RT for most of the season. Dunlap was much, much better than DeMetress Bell. He's got a penchant for stupid penalties and he tends to let bad things snowball out of control (bad stretches) but across the board, he's probably better than a handful of left tackles in the NFL. He's not a right tackle or a guard, he's a left tackle, that's where he's been far most effective. Not good. Not great. Viable. Better than guys like David Diehl and whoever the hell the Bears and Cardinals send out. Low-end, you-can-get-by-with-him starter. _________________

I think he's a depth player only, not a "viable starter" in the NFL. Just IMO. _________________

No way in hell the Queen is a starter in this league. The guy can't move fast enough to get in front of the quick guys and he is so tall that the powerful guys can just use leverage to push him around. He is at best a depth guy, with his floor having him out of the league. |

If only DEs bull rushed him on every single play, and used no leverage against his 6-8 frame, he might be a decent starter. Unfortunately he has trouble even talking about bending his knees, let alone actually doing it in a game. _________________

Meco going against the grain as per........
Dunlap is a viable starter for team who doesn't want to win. _________________ Officially endorsed by Jon Dorenbos
